TRC-00583 | NLRP3 (Human) ELISA Kit | 96 Well
Product Overview
A sandwich ELISA kit for the quantitative measurement of NLRP3 in Plasma,Serum,Tissue lysate,Other biological fluids.
Nod-like receptor protein 3 (NLRP3) is a 115 kD cytosolic protein that belongs to the NLR family. The protein is expressed in dendritic cells, neutrophils, and lymphocytes. NLRP3 is a component of the NLRP3 inflammasome complex that includes the NLRP3 scaffold, PYCARD (PYD and CARD Domain) adaptor, and caspase-1. Assembly of this complex results in caspase-1 dependent release of pro-inflammatory cytokines such as IL-1β and IL-18 and induces inflammation. Activation of the NLRP3 inflammasome complex is associated with several diseases such as atherosclerosis, type II diabetes, Alzheimer's disease (AD), chronic obstructive pulmonary disease, tumors, cryopyrin-associated periodic syndrome, and COVID-19 disease. Hence, NLRP3 could serve as an efficient therapeutic target for the treatment of human diseases. 96Trace’s NLRP3 (Human) ELISA kit is based on the Sandwich ELISA principle to quantitatively measure the amount of CHI3L1 in human serum, plasma, and other biological fluids. Test samples, Standards, and Biotinylated Detection antibody are added to the wells pre-coated with capture antibody and then washed with Wash Buffer. The HRP-Streptavidin is added and any unattached conjugates are washed off using Wash Buffer. The HRP enzymatic reaction is detected by the addition of TMB-substrate. Finally, the reaction is terminated with an acidic stop solution. The color developed is proportional to the amount of NLRP3 in the sample or standard.
