A sandwich ELISA kit for the qualitative detection of Anti-Ustekinumab in Plasma,Serum.
Ustekinumab is a fully human IgG1 monoclonal antibody that targets the p40 subunit of IL-12 and IL-23, thereby preventing their association with IL-12Rβ1 receptor expressed on NK cells and T-cell surface. As a result, the antibody inhibits IL-12 and IL-23 mediated signaling, activation, and subsequent inflammatory response. The antibody has been approved to treat moderate-to-severe plaque psoriasis, Crohn’s disease, and ulcerative colitis. anti-Ustekinumab ELISA kit has been specifically developed to qualitatively determine antibodies to Ustekinumab in human serum and plasma samples. The ELISA kit is based on the sandwich principle. Controls and samples are incubated in the microtiter plate coated with the drug Ustekinumab. After incubation, the wells are washed and the enzymatic activity is detected by the addition of chromogen-substrate. The enzyme-substrate reaction is terminated with an acidic stop solution. The color developed is proportional to the amount of antibodies specific for Ustekinumab present in the samples and controls. The qualitative test results can be evaluated using cut-off value.
