Catecholamine (CA) (Mouse) ELISA Kit
Size: 96 Well
Application: Endocrine and reproductive hormone research.
A sandwich ELISA kit for the quantitative measurement of Catecholamine (CA) in Serum, plasma, urine, cell culture samples, biological fluid.
Catecholamine (CA) is a monoamine, an organic compound that has a catechol and a side-chain amine. Catecholamines are derived from the amino acid tyrosine, which is derived from dietary sources as well as synthesis from phenylalanine. Two catecholamines, norepinephrine and dopamine, act as neuromodulators in the central nervous system and as hormones in the blood circulation. The catecholamine norepinephrine is a neuromodulator of the peripheral sympathetic nervous system but is also present in the blood. It causes general physiological changes that prepare the body for physical activity. Some typical effects are increases in heart rate, blood pressure, blood glucose levels, and a general reaction of the sympathetic nervous system. 96Trace’s Catecholamine ELISA kit is a sandwich ELISA assay for the quantitative measurement of CA in mouse serum, plasma and cell culture supernatants in 90 minutes. The density of color is proportional to the amount of Catecholamine captured from the samples.
