VEGF (Human) ELISA Kit
Size: 96 Well
Application: Cancer, apoptosis and cell signaling research.
A rapid sandwich ELISA kit for the quantitative measurement of VEGF in human serum, plasma, cell culture supernatnat and other biological fluids
Vascular endothelial growth factor (VEGF) is a growth factor active in angiogenesis, vasculogenesis and endothelial cell growth. Induces endothelial cell proliferation, promotes cell migration, inhibits apoptosis and induces permeabilization of blood vessels. Binds to the FLT1/VEGFR1 and KDR/VEGFR2 receptors, heparan sulfate and heparin. NRP1/Neuropilin-1 binds isoforms VEGF-165 and VEGF-145. Isoform VEGF165B binds to KDR but does not activate downstream signaling pathways, does not activate angiogenesis and inhibits tumor growth. 96Trace’s VEGF ELISA kit is a sandwich ELISA assay for measuring the quantity of human VEGF in serum, plasma and cell culture and other biological fluid. The entire process can be performed within 90 minutes with fewer incubation and wash steps respectively, resulting in less errors and more consistent results.
