Accessory protein for MHC class-II antigen/T-cell receptor interaction. May regulate T-cell activation. Induces the aggregation of lipid rafts. Acts as a receptor for human immunodeficiency virus-1 and Down-regulated by HIV-1 Vpu. 96Trace’s CD4 ELISA kit is a sandwich ELISA assay for measuring the quantity of human CD4 in serum, plasma and cell culture and other biological fluid. The entire process can be performed within 90 minutes with only a single incubation and a wash step respectively, resulting in fewer handling steps, fewer errors and more consistent results.
