HIF-1 alpha (Human) ELISA Kit
Size: 96 Well
Application: Cancer, apoptosis and cell signaling research.
A sandwich ELISA kit for the quantitative measurement of HIF-1 alpha in Human serum, plasma, tissue homogenates and other biological fluids.
HIF-1 alpha functions as a master transcriptional regulator of the adaptive response to hypoxia. Under hypoxic conditions, activates the transcription of over 40 genes, including erythropoietin, glucose transporters, glycolytic enzymes, vascular endothelial growth factor, HILPDA, and other genes whose protein products increase oxygen delivery or facilitate metabolic adaptation to hypoxia. Plays an essential role in embryonic vascularization, tumor angiogenesis and pathophysiology of ischemic disease. Involved in the axonal distribution and transport of mitochondria in neurons during hypoxia. 96Trace’s HIF-1 alpha ELISA kit is a sandwich ELISA assay for the quantitative measurement of human HIF-1 alpha in serum, plasma and cell culture supernatants. The density of color is proportional to the amount of human HIF-1 alpha captured from the samples.
