Glycyl tRNA Synthetase catalyzes the attachment of glycine to tRNA(Gly). Is also able produce diadenosine tetraphosphate (Ap4A), a universal pleiotropic signaling molecule needed for cell regulation pathways, by direct condensation of 2 ATPs. 96Trace’s GARS ELISA kit is a sandwich ELISA assay for the quantitative measurement of human GARS in serum, plasma and cell culture supernatants. The density of color is proportional to the amount of GARS captured from the samples.
