Folate receptor gamma (FOLR3) binds to folate and reduced folic acid derivatives and mediates delivery of 5-methyltetrahydrofolate to the interior of cells. . 96Trace’s FOLR3 (Human) ELISA Kit is based on the Sandwich-ELISA principle for the quantitative measurement of human FOLR3 in serum, plasma and other biological fluids. Capture antibody was pre-coated onto 96-well plates. And the biotin conjugated antibody was used as detection antibodies. The standards, test samples and biotin conjugated detection antibody were added to the wells subsequently, and washed with wash buffer. HRP-Streptavidin was added and unbound conjugates were washed away with wash buffer. TMB substrates were used to visualize HRP enzymatic reaction. TMB was catalyzed by HRP to produce a blue color product that changed into yellow after adding the acidic stop solution. The density of color is proportional to the amount of FOLR3 captured from the samples.
