Fas Ligand (FASLG) is a cytokine that binds to TNFRSF6/FAS, a receptor that transduces the apoptotic signal into cells. It involves in cytotoxic T-cell-mediated apoptosis, natural killer cell-mediated apoptosis and in T-cell development.
