Caspase-9 (Human) ELISA Kit
Size: 96 Well
Application: Cancer, apoptosis and cell signaling research.
An ELISA kit for the quantitative measurement of human Caspase-9 in human serum, plasma, tissue homogenates, culture supernatants and other biological fluids
Involved in the activation cascade of caspases responsible for apoptosis execution. Binding of caspase-9 to Apaf-1 leads to activation of the protease which then cleaves and activates caspase-3. Promotes DNA damage-induced apoptosis in a ABL1/c-Abl-dependent manner. Proteolytically cleaves poly(ADP-ribose) polymerase (PARP). Isoform 2 lacks activity is an dominant-negative inhibitor of caspase-9.This kit was based on sandwich enzyme-linked immune-sorbent assay technology. The density of color is proportional to the Human Caspase-9 amount of sample captured in plate.
