Anti-Vedolizumab (Human) ELISA Kit
Size: 96 Well
Application: Anti-drug antibody / immunogenicity testing.
A sandwich ELISA kit for the qualitative detection of Anti-Vedolizumab in Plasma,Serum.
Vedolizumab is a recombinant humanized IgG1 monoclonal antibody that targets human lymphocyte α4β7 integrin and blocks the interaction with its ligand MAdCAM-1 thus resulting in gastrointestinal anti-inflammatory activity. It is used to treat moderate-to-severe active ulcerative colitis and Crohn’s disease in patients who demonstrate an inadequate-to-no response to inhibitors of tumor necrosis factor α (TNF-α) or other conventional therapies. anti-Vedolizumab ELISA kit has been specifically developed to qualitatively determine if there are antibodies to Vedolizumab in human serum and plasma samples. The ELISA kit is based on the sandwich principle. Controls and samples are incubated in the microtiter plate coated with the drug Vedolizumab. After incubation, the wells are washed and the enzymatic activity is detected by the addition of chromogen-substrate. The enzyme-substrate reaction is terminated with an acidic stop solution. The color developed is proportional to the amount of antibodies specific for Vedolizumab present in the samples and controls. The qualitative test results can be evaluated using cut-off value.
