Anti-Bevacizumab (Human) ELISA Kit
Size: 96 Well
Application: Anti-drug antibody / immunogenicity testing.
A sandwich ELISA kit for the quantitative measurement of Anti-Bevacizumab in Human serum and plasma.
Bevacizumab (Avastin®) is a recombinant human IgG1 monoclonal antibody specific for all human vascular endothelial growth factor-A (VEGF-A) isoforms. It has been demonstrated that bevacizumab, in combination with chemotherapy, resulted in increased survival in patients with previously untreated metastatic colorectal cancer relative to chemotherapy alone, leading to FDA approval of the first anti-angiogenic agent. However, some patients develop unwanted immunogenicity, which leads to production of anti-drug-antibodies (ADAs) inactivating the therapeutic effects of the treatment and, in rare cases, inducing adverse effects. 96Trace’s BioSimTM anti-Bevacizumab ELISA kit is designed to quantify/measure the antibody against Bevacizumab with high specificity and sensitivity in biological matrices.
