alpha-Endorphin (Human) ELISA Kit
Size: 96 Well
Application: Biomarker research in biological samples.
A competitive ELISA kit for the quantitative measurement of alpha-Endorphin in Serum, plasma, tissue homogenates and other biological fluids.
Endorphin (EP) is an endogenous opioid neuropeptide and peptide hormone that is produced in certain neurons within the central nervous system and peripheral nervous system. It is one of five endorphins that are produced in human, the others of which include α-endorphin, γ-endorphin, α-neoendorphin, and β-neoendorphin. Alpha Endorphin is an endogenous opiate corresponding to the first 16 aa of the Beta endorphin sequence. 96Trace’s α-Endorphin ELISA kit is a competitive ELISA assay for the quantitative measurement of α-Endorphin in serum, plasma and cell culture supernatants. The density of color is proportional to the amount of α-Endorphin captured from the samples.
