HDL-C (Human) ELISA Kit
Size: 96 Well
Application: Metabolic, lipid and nutrition biomarker research.
A sandwich ELISA kit for the quantitative measurement of HDL-C in Human serum, plasma, cell culture supernatant, tissue homogenate and other biological fluids.
High-density lipoproteins (HDL) are one of the five major groups of lipoproteins. Unlike the larger lipoprotein particles which deliver fat molecules to cells, HDL particles remove fat molecules from cells which need to export fat molecules. Increasing concentrations of HDL particles are strongly associated with decreasing accumulation of atherosclerosis within the walls of arteries. This is important because atherosclerosis eventually results in sudden plaque ruptures, cardiovascular disease, stroke and other vascular diseases. HDL-C ELISA kit is a sandwich ELISA assay for measuring the quantity of human HDL-C in serum, plasma and cell culture and other biological fluid. The entire process can be performed within 90 minutes with fewer incubation and wash steps respectively, resulting in less steps, fewer errors and more consistent results.
