TRC-00295 | DNMT1 (Human) ELISA Kit | 96 Well
Product Overview
An ELISA kit for the quantitative measurement of human DNMT1 in human serum, plasma, culture supernatants and other biological fluids
Methylates CpG residues. Preferentially methylates hemimethylated DNA. Associates with DNA replication sites in S phase maintaining the methylation pattern in the newly synthesized strand, that is essential for epigenetic inheritance. Associates with chromatin during G2 and M phases to maintain DNA methylation independently of replication. It is responsible for maintaining methylation patterns established in development. Also required to maintain a transcriptionnally repressive state of genes in undifferentiated embryonic stem cells (ESCs). 96Trace’s DNMT1 ELISA kit is a sandwich ELISA assay for the quantitative measurement of human DNMT1 in serum, plasma and cell culture supernatants. The density of color is proportional to the amount of DNMT1 captured from the samples.
